unrelated Poem
I am your borderland
your heartless waterfront
I zone of face
ordained
wording the air
You, thus, coffee, sea, noon
there.
The to desert
between
military, mouths
the
rattatum.
Around it
and under
and through
We choose our routes.
land water wheels.
You're
gentle narrow
ing.
Your bundle of eyes
Your floorboards
I am confined
to a few pronouns.
and dear.
I am your transitive.
and become
Like white.
Each a salutary
precept
a slum.
Rooms, unfurnished
rooms
Guests welcome
Rooms for
permanent and transitory
guests, sleeping rooms
Vacancy,
To let.
