breath ghazal 17:
for Roger Zelazny
hard for a breath i tarry harried
into the body of time no please
yet the lack of breath
s death even in movement the care
taking the earth & its air making
the ruined lands fair again
not for the clanking machines waiting
so long for the breathing monstrosities under
standing reason from beyond it in love
desire in breathing (& out) to say that Now
