uttering needs no lips, if you can
form the adjective from the noun,
if the answer is suddenly
interrupted, deferred to the liver,
attractive as the image is, the
stumbling-block of myth is
forgetting you can cycle the
dizzying Narcissus to unlink the
suspicious tumblers of rhyme

yet marching to the roll of drums,
apples Warburg carried tiptoe
