In the movie the sheriff must choose
O ever-fixed mark am I not that mark
between reason and desire I wanted to
love in return the most simple world
but some cowboys are just plain evil
luckily there are other things I was
a haircut and a sports coat away from
my new life were I to choose between
the schoolmarm and the saloon singer
not some watchman some retired cop
O brightest air disrupting the surface
wherein the plot the ongoing events
while the soundtrack of a tinny piano
rattles up from the parlor down below.
