During an indeterminate, unbroken time, without even a hint of
what might be, we saw nothing but the wry, jaded surface of
routine.
There then emerged the notion, the invention of this possibility
- but the word "emerged" must, we know, be corrected,
For to create possibility there must be will, the supreme will of
a master, starkly, joyfully gravid
And enamored of a project such as: make a garden here, where one
beholds only well-proven cement.
And what you now saw was born from a void through just such
workings of a solitary woman's will.
